An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team in the pre-op Surgical Admissions Lounge at Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust.

The Surgical Admissions Lounge (SAL) is a pre-operative waiting area where patients are admitted on the day of their surgery. Patients admitted to the Surgical Admission Unit have had a pre-operative assessment and have been assessed as being physically fit enough to wait for their surgery in a non-ward area.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and flexible Nurses who can help our team make a difference for the patients at Musgrove Park Hospital. To enable us to consistently deliver high standards of clinical care, we offer a supportive environment with development opportunities to help the right Nurse grow within the SAL.

Here at Taunton & Somerset NHS, we are really proud of our colleagues and their achievements. We value our people and their extraordinary commitment to our patients and our organisation - together, we are dedicated to working as one team to make a difference to people's lives. We are keen to employ people who share the same vision and values as us. In return, we give nationally agreed rates of pay, locally agreed recognition and benefits schemes, and dedication to supporting your continual professional development.

Informal visits or enquiries are welcome.
